The Space

The Classic 1914 Ballroom features tall windows highlighting the beautiful green backdrop of trees. The hardwood floors and 17’ mirror accommodates an ideal space for dance events and performances. The 1914 architecture provides a beautiful, familiar and classic style for any celebration.

Capacity in the Ballroom is 250 standing or chairs only. Seated capacity for dining is 160. The Ballroom includes a full kitchen with Open Catering Policy. Staff supervised and set up/take-down included with our provided tables and chairs.

Hourly Rental

$115 – $240 per hour

Peak hours: Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings 3-11pm
Off Peak Hours: Monday-Thursday 7am-11pm and Friday-Sunday 7am-3pm
Non-profit and member rates available

Daily Rental

$400 – $2500 per day

Workshop/Retreat Packages: Monday-Friday 7am-4pm
12 hour Rental Package available

Rules & Regulations

All Renter representatives, DJ’s using amplified sound (Live Bands included) will be required to review the noise policy and agree to terms with the MBCC Event Supervisor on-site. MBCC Event Supervisors reserves the right to terminate all amplified sound and discuss noise policies with any guests or vendors due to non-compliance. MBCC Event Supervisors may perform periodic assessments with a decibel meter in order to maintain appropriate levels of sound.
Music is allowed at normal amplified levels of 80 decibels inside until 10pm. Music must be turned down to 60 decibels at 10pm. Music is off completely by 11pm.

Catering and Food Guidelines: Onsite preparation time must be within contracted hours. (recommended at least 2 hours prior to guest arrival). No grilling or Frying allowed onsite

Alcohol Guidelines: Alcohol is allowed but requires a server. MBCC does not provide a server.


Cancellation Policy

Due with contract, Non refundable reservation deposit: 50% of total rental balance.

Cancellation of an event must be submitted in writing.  A 50% refund, less non-refundable deposit, will be issued for cancellations received 60 days prior to event. No rental refunds shall be made less than 60 days prior to the event.  If the event is rescheduled for another date, MBCC may, at its discretion, apply a portion of the rental fees to the new date.  Regardless of cancellation date, the Reservation Deposit is non-refundable.  MBCC reserves the right to cancel if the renter is not compliant.

The Building

The Mount Baker Community Club is a 100 year old non-profit organization. We preserve our beautiful Clubhouse for social gatherings, community organizing, performances, weddings and more. Our elegant ballroom can accommodate 200 guests and our well equipped conference room holds 50 guests. We are proudly nestled in a and Olmsted legacy neighborhood with open green space all around. Our classic architecture, high ceilings and tree-lined windows provide a perfect setting for a variety of events.
