The Space

The Mainstage is a 42’ x 63’ black box with at 18’ pipe grid, 192 dimmers, and padded seats on moveable risers and a capacity recommended at 125. Mainstage productions share a small assembly Shop, Lobby, and Green Room, and have exclusive access to a Control Booth and one or two dressing rooms depending on the size of the cast. The Mainstage is rented as a 6-week block, and renters have exclusive access to the space during their residency. All rentals are Mon-Sun.

There are no daily or weekly rates available—please do not inquire.

Black Box Operation’s rental structure offers flat-rate fees for exclusive theatre rentals by the week. Designed with the artist’s needs in mind, these fully transformable spaces are accessible 24-hours per day and may be used for performance, rehearsal, workshops, and more!
