The Space
University Congregational United Church of Christ is seeking a nonprofit tenant for a monthly or yearly rental of a large room (approx. 900 sq ft) with desks, storage, and access to a shared bathroom. Space is ADA accessible, with an entrance off 45th Street, across from the UW campus. We are seeking an organization consistent with our values of love, compassion, and justice.
Could be perfect for offices, large group meetings, theater or dance rehearsal, yoga or art classes, teaching or tutoring.
Monthly Rental
$1500 per month
Includes sole access to the room, access to a shared bathroom, and custodial support from UCUCC. Access to parking for staff or guests is also negotiable.
Rental Requirements
501(c)(3) status is required, as is liability insurance.
Rules & Regulations
Space is accessible Monday-Friday 6:30 am - 10:00 pm, Saturdays 9:00 am - 4:30 pm, and Sundays 8:30 am - 6:30 pm, but weekday evening access is negotiable.

The Building
Large room available for long-term rental in the heart of the University District.
Room 105 is 26’ x 35’ (over 900 square feet) with desks and storage and includes access to a shared bathroom. The space is perfect for offices, large meetings, rehearsals, tutoring, yoga, or other activities. The space is ADA accessible with an entrance off 45th Street (across from the UW campus), half a block from multiple bus lines.
University Congregational United Church of Christ is an open and affirming church were we celebrate our diversity in religious background, sexual orientation, race, and abilities, and have many nonprofit partners engaged in social justice work. Previously the room was occupied by a GED program for homeless youth. We are seeking a tenant consistent with our mission to make real God’s love in the world, act with compassion, and promote justice (and we don’t limit our idea of love/compassion/justice to a Christian-only framework).
We are hoping to rent the room on a monthly or yearly basis, for $1500 a month.
Hours
Tenants can access the building from 6:30 am - 10:00 pm Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 4:30 pm Saturday, and Sundays 9:00 am - 6:30 pm. Additional hours on Saturday and Sunday evenings can be made regularly available by special arrangement. Tenants will have their own key.
Parking
Parking for staff or guests could be negotaited as part of the rental agreement. The church owns several nearby parking lots, or street parking can be found in the neighborhood.
Public Transportation
Very accessible via transit: 1/2 block from the 70, 541, 542, 566 bus line. one block from the 43, 44, 49, 167, 197, 586, 810, 821, 855, 871, 880, and two blocks from the 45, 71, 73, 373.
Accessibility
ADA acessible entrance from 45th street. Some of the parking is accessible only by stairs.
Security
Church office is open to the public Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 6:00 pm and Sundays 8:30 am - 12:30 pm. All spaces beyond the church office are private
