Rental Requirements

Liability insurance (minimum 1 million dollars) is required for public events, you must provide a copy to MMPA when rental contract is signed.

Indemnify and Hold Harmless. The Renter agrees to indemnify and hold harmless MMPA from and against all claims, losses, judgments, demands and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or in connection with occupancy activities. This indemnification includes, without limitation, claims from: loss, damage or injury to property; personal injury or loss of life; infringements of copyrights or other artistic or other rights; and breaches or alleged breaches of their rental agreement.

Rules & Regulations

(a) Rules. The Renter and its employees, agents, contractors or subcontractors, etc. shall comply with all applicable laws, ordinances, rules and regulations and observe all practices of MMPA.
(b) No smoking or open flame allowed on premises.
(c) Renter is required to cover any damage to the Premises, or any theft of any equipment owned or leased by MMPA, if such damage or theft is the result of the Renter’s occupancy of the Premises.
(d) Renter is required to leave the premises in presentable condition, with all furniture of the Premises restored to the state it was in at the beginning of the rental. All materials, promotional materials, food, drink and other supplies brought in by the Renter must be removed from the Premises. MMPA will charge a $250 cleaning fee.
(e) The Renter agrees not to sell or distribute liquor on the Premises unless Renter has both 1) a valid liquor retail license 2)appropriate liability insurance with explicit coverage of liquor sales.

Cancellation Policy

Deposit not required for short-term rentals. Contact MMPA for bulk rental pricing. A deposit will be required for bulk rentals.

Refunds. Failure to show up for a scheduled rental is not grounds for a refund. If the rental described in this Agreement is cancelled at least 3 weeks prior to scheduled start, no further payments will be due. Cancellation of the rental less than 3 weeks prior to the start of the rental or failure to show up shall result in the entire rental fee remaining due and payable.

There is catering available through the Skylark, next door to our facility. Alcohol is permitted only if the renter provides the proper liquor license and insurance for their event.

We believe that it is vital every child experience the arts and have the opportunity to create on and off stage. Our professional teaching artists are skilled at offering a wide variety of performing arts classes from acting technique to musical theater to play creation and performance.
