The Space

18th & Union is a performance space in Seattle’s Central District that serves as a home for solo and other portable performance and visual art, including theater, music, dance, comedy, and improv.

We offer hourly and weekly rentals for rehearsals, performances, classes, workshops, and more.

Hourly Rental

$10 – $20 per hour

4-hour minimum rental required. $10/hour without use of stage lights or audio equipment, $20/hour with.

These rentals are available for private events only.

Weekly Rental

$900 per week

Radial Theater is in residence at 18th & Union roughly 26 weeks a year. Community rentals are available at other times. These are offered on a weekly basis, and include exclusive use of the space during each rental period.

All exclusive weekly rentals are scheduled Monday through Sunday. Precedence will be given to rentals of 3 weeks or more. The all-inclusive cost is $850/week. The rental includes standard seating, a rep lighting plot, and use of all of the theater’s equipment.
