The Space

This classic movie palace features a giant screen and luxurious lobby space. Primarily a venue for film exhibition, it is also a great space for meetings, presentations, lectures/workshops, and live performances. The auditorium can accommodate projection from a number of sources and has high quality sound and image capabilities. Two lounge spaces either side of the auditorium can be tailored to event needs, perfectly suited to receptions or a VIP lounge.

Auditorium: 570 seats (450 floor, 120 balcony) | 4K Barco digital projection, 35mm reel to reel, Dolby 7.1 sound system

Lobby: Ample lobby space that can be easily customized for special use. Space for posters and flyers.

The Building

SIFF Cinema Egyptian: One screen. Built in 1915. The Egyptian Theatre is located on Capitol Hill near Downtown Seattle and features a wide array of independent film, foreign language cinema, documentaries and restored classics.

Founded in 1976, SIFF is Seattleā€™s leading year-round film organization that brings the best in international and independent film to the Seattle area with the Seattle International Film Festival, SIFF Cinema, and SIFF Education.

Parking

$5 parking available at Seattle Central College Harvard Parking Garage, located across the street from the Egyptian at 1609 Harvard Ave.
$5 rate is available weekdays after 2.30pm, and all day on Sunday and holidays. The rate increases to $10 after 4pm on Saturdays.
Prices are subject to change for special events and without notice at the discretion of SCC.
